Old finish taken down, dents pulled, body filler shaped and blocked to true lines.
Mask & Prime
Everything that isn't getting sprayed gets sealed. Primer laid and wet-sanded flat.
Spray & Cure
Base, midcoat or candy layers in the booth — then baked and cured, not rushed.
Cut & Buff
Wet sand, compound, polish. The finish comes out flat as glass and deep as paint gets.

Straight answers
It depends on the finish and the prep the car needs. Single-stage resprays start lower; three-stage pearl, candy and full color changes cost more because of materials and booth time. Every job is quoted on inspection — send photos through the quote builder or call 804-615-5310 for a free estimate.
A three-stage system sprays a solid ground coat, a translucent pearl midcoat, then a protective clear. The pearl layer is what shifts color as light and viewing angle change — it's the deepest-looking factory-style finish short of true candy.
Both — and custom is the specialty. Full resprays, color changes, candy over metallic, pearl, flake, chameleon and two-tone work, plus collision and body repair and detailing. Every job gets the same prep standard.
Most full resprays run one to three weeks depending on body work needed and cure schedule. Candy, pearl and color-change jobs take longer because of the extra stages. You'll get a timeline with your written quote.
Yes — self-pay and insurance jobs are both welcome. You have the right to choose your repair shop; tell your insurer you're using Allen Automotive and we work from there.
Yes — the build video package documents every stage from prep to final buff and you get the footage with the keys. When the booth camera is live, jobs also stream on the Booth Cam page.
